Poland - Krakow

The Renaissance-style town hall is tied to the history of Szydłowiec. It sits in a typical medieval town square and was built in 1602–1629. In 1809 the building was devastated by Austrians and again in 1914, Austrian troops blew up the upper floors of the tower. Following WW11 its restoration was completed.
